The La Crosse Police have now announced that the women found dead (Kristen Rodgers) on the northside of La Crosse was in fact a victim of a homicide. Just yesterday the cops made sure to announce that the public was not at risk and no signs of trauma existed on the body, leading many to assume they didn't think this was a homicide. Wouldn't it have been better for the police to have simply said something like "we are not sure if this was a homicide and we advise the public to be on alert until we do some more investigating"?
