If anyone still believes the myth that we live in a free country protected by the bill of rights, here is more prof that we don't. I admire friend of LaCrosseWatchdog Adam Kokesh for showing some courage in disobeying. Just think if the police would have used this sort of violence against the protest at the state capital a few months ago. There would be absolute outrage. Obama would condemn it for sure. This happens a few miles from his house and I am sure Obama won't have anything to say about it. Checkout Free Talk Live coverage of the event.

Koch Bashing Rep. Ron Kind Receives Thousands From Koch Brothers
Thanks to a tip from a young local libertarian LaCrosseWatchdog has uncovered that Koch bashing Ron Kind has received thousands of dollars from Koch Industries PAC in nearly every election cycle since he has been in office (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010). This equals a total of $16,000 of the Koch brother's "dirty money"! Kind repeatedly said that the Koch brothers were "gunning for him" during the last election cycle. Seems kind of strange that one of the few Democrats the Koch brothers give money to is Ron Kind. Note to Ron Kind's campaign consultants: Don't attack your opponent for benefiting from Koch money when your receiving thousands in contributions yourself. Can anyone say this is what hypocrisy looks like? So are the unions and democrats going to start calling Ron Kind a Koch whore? Don't hold your breath.

How Much Does It Cost To Fire A Teacher That Looks At Porn On The Job? $300,000 and Counting
Can anyone think of a job where you might not be fired after being caught looking at porn on work related computers? Can anyone think of a job where it would cost the employer $ 300,000 to fire you after being caught looking at porn while at work? Answer would be a public school teacher. During the whole collective bargaining debate, I don't how many times I would make the point to people that it is nearly impossible to fire a bad teacher. The school district of Middleton has spent over $ 300,000 on legal bills trying to terminate Andrew Harris, a seventh-grade science teacher at Glacier Creek Middle School for looking at porn on school computers. Thank God those teachers have those union protections, right? You wouldn't want to lose that teacher that is so dedicated to their students that they can't keep from looking at sexually explicit pictures and videos while in the classroom. Firing someone for looking at porn while at work should be an easy thing to do if your work involves being around children. Someone who can't control their sexual urges should not be working around children. Please spread this story around to your friends. Abuses like these need to be highlighted.
The Middleton-Cross Plains School Board has spent about $300,000 in the last year fighting a grievance filed on behalf of a teacher fired after an investigation found he viewed pornography at school.
Andrew Harris, a former seventh-grade science teacher at Glacier Creek Middle School, along with seven high school staff members and one administrator, were investigated and disciplined after the district discovered porn and other inappropriate adult content, including nudity and sexual jokes, in their email system during the fall of 2009.
Union leaders say the case isn’t about teachers viewing porn on a school computer — an action they agree is wrong. Rather, they argue the discipline for Harris and the others was unjust and not based on clear standards or objective criteria.
A union lawyer, Willie Haus, also alleges the district went after Harris because he was a union leader who had criticized the School Board. The grievance calls for reinstating Harris and reversing other disciplinary actions taken by the School Board, including back pay for teachers who served suspensions.

Herman Cain Tea Party Fraud Exposed
Tea Party fraud Herman Cain today announced he is running for President. Something many in the Tea Party don't know about Mr. Cain is he supported the bailouts of 2008. This man has gone around to many Tea Parties railing against the very same thing he supported just 3 years ago. Here is a link to a column he wrote in 2008 supporting the bailouts and TARP. Here are a few quotes from his column:
Earth to taxpayers! Owning stocks in banks is not nationalization of the banking industry. It’s trying to solve a problem.
Wake up people! Owning a part of the major banks in America is not a bad thing. We could make a profit while solving a problem. But the mainstream media and the free market purists want you to believe that this is the end of capitalism as we know it. It is not for several reasons that they have conveniently not explained.
Unprecedented problems require unprecedented solutions. The actions by the Treasury are a win-win for the taxpayer. But the mainstream media does not get brownie points for reporting win-win solutions for the taxpayers. Their focus is doom and gloom.Below is video evidence of the double talking of Herman Cain.

Tommy Thompson Wanted Implant Data Chips In Humans
In writing my first post on the problems of Tommy Thompson as the Republican nominee for senate, I forgot to mention that Thompson supported putting data chips in humans. He served on the board of a company called Verichip which wants to implant humans with ID chips to in order to track them and store health records. Thompson says he would gladly implant a chip in his right arm. He evens suggest parents start implanting their newborn children with chips in order to track them. The video will make your skin crawl for anyone who values privacy.

Tommy Thompson A Pro ObamaCare Republican?
According to the Politico Tommy Thompson is going to run for Senate if Paul Ryan doesn't run which is increasingly likely. Let me be one of the first bloggers to bring this up now that Tommy Thompson looks like he his getting in this for real, and not pulling a Donald Trump. Back in 2009 Tommy was one of a few Republicans who were pushing for compromise with Obama on healthcare reform. Thompson was even praised by Obama (in his weekly radio address) for supporting for reforms he was pushing (See Video Below
).
And who can forget Tommy's joint statement with former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt
Key line: “Failure to reach an agreement on health reform this year is not an acceptable option.”"If we don’t act now, health care costs will continue to devour more income of hard-working families and burden businesses trying to expand and create jobs – while leaving tens of millions of people uninsured and vulnerable to a health emergency.
"That’s unacceptable. We urge our former colleagues in Congress to work with President Obama and leaders in both houses and both parties to hammer out a final agreement this year based on common sense principles to ensure that quality care is affordable for every American.”No doubt Thompson will now say he is against ObamaCare and wants it repealed, but he has a lot of explaining to do about his past. Not even mentioning his big spending ways and failure to pass a concealed carry bill his over his 12 years as governor.
The interesting question remains will there be a serious primary challenge to Thompson from the right? No I am not talking about Dave (no money) Westlake. I mean a serious candidate. How about Tommy's brother Ed? Would Mark Neumann be interested in another primary fight? This time the primary would actually pit a conservative against a RINO/moderate (Neumann vs Thompson), and not what we saw last year in (Neumann vs Walker) when two good conservatives had a hard primary fight. Lets hope the GOP doesn't just roll over and accept another George Bush Republican.

Fewer Officers On Patrol Leads To Fewer Arrests In La Crosse
Fewer officers on patrol leads to fewer arrests
As much as the media and local government want to promote this as a bad thing, it is not. The fewer tickets being given out by cops for victimless crimes is a good thing. No victim no crime.

Breaking News: Dan Kapanke Is Now Co-Sponsor Of Constitutional Carry Bill SB93
Due to local activist pressure from the TEA Party in La Crosse Dan Kapanke has now said he will become a co-sponsor of SB93! I have personally heard stories of Dan Kapanke calling a local TEA Party activist on the phone the last two days to explain his position. After a good amount of back and forth with Senator Kapanke he finally was convinced that the right thing to do was get behind Sen. Pam Galloway's Constitutional Carry Bill SB93. Its nice to see the politicians listening to constituents and not the "political experts" who no doubt said a non permit concealed carry bill was to extreme. I think Sen. Kapanke has made a good political decision here as well. This summer's election is going to be about who turns out their base. Most people are not going to be thinking about voting come July 12th, expect for the hardcore activist base on both sides that feel energized by their candidates. Dan Kapanke looks to be doing the opposite of what losing 94th Assembly candidate John Lautz did and Dan is running to energize his base. Lautz was every weak on Second Amendment issues and did not run a campaign that energized the conservative base.

GOP Leadership and NRA Trying To Derail Constitution Carry Bill SB93?
Today I received this email from the Wisconsin Campaign for Liberty on the Constitutional Carry Bill. The message contains a lot of information so I will just repost it here for you to read. On a side note Dan Kapanke is not a cosponsor of the Constitutional Carry Bill because he incorrectly believes that the bill would require municipalities to have metal detectors at all government buildings at a cost of million of dollars in order to guarantee that they are gun free zones. If you run into him make sure you tell him your support for his campaign depends on his support of a true Constitution Carry bill.
Message from Campaign For Liberty:
Yesterday I told you we had new intel on what leadership is trying to pull with Constitutional Carry. Well, here it is.
I sent you an email this weekend asking you to attend one of the Concealed Carry hearings either in Wausau or Madison. Since then, we have learned new disturbing intel on what is being planned.
In Wausau, two bills are being heard: our Constitutional Concealed Carry bill, and one of the permit carry bills. In Madison, the other permit carry bill will be heard.
This is the classic "keep your eye on the left hand and ignore what the right hand is doing" technique. The Republican leadership and the NRA are working together to divide and conquer Constitutional Carry.
This is their plan: Send all of the Constitutional Concealed Carry people to Wausau, then have the real hearing on the permit bill that leadership wants in Madison at the same time.
They believe that, by default, the people that come to the Madison hearing will have to agree with permit carry because that is the only one being heard at that location.
Guess what? THEY are wrong!
So here is our new plan: We need everyone who is able to come to the Madison hearing on Thursday at 10:30am rather than the Wausau meeting. We need you there standing up for Constitutional Concealed Carry and denouncing permit carry.
If we can overwhelm their permit carry hearing with support for Constitutional Carry, we will force leadership to put Constitutional Carry up for a vote instead of permit carry.
Click here to RSVP, preferably for the Madison hearing if you are able, or the Wausau hearing if you are unable to make it to Madison.
We need to pack the hearing in Madison with Constitutional Concealed Carry supporters.
We all must let them know that we will not accept permit carry forced down our throats.
Permit carry is unacceptable because it turns your rights into privileges and you will need to beg the government for them.
Let's send a message. RSVP right now to attend the carry hearing in Madison by clicking here.
I look forward to fighting next to you in Madison on Thursday.
In Liberty,
Todd Welch
Interim State Coordinator
Wisconsin Campaign for Liberty
P.S. The NRA and Republican leadership are trying to steal our rights. They are trying to force permit carry down our throats. Stand for Constitutional Concealed Carry this Thursday at 10:30am in Madison. Click here to RSVP right now.
