Yesterday, I received word that Ed Thompson had finally lost his battle with cancer. Ed Thompson was the champion of liberty in Wisconsin. Below are a few videos of Ed. In this video Ed receives the NORMAL defender of freedom award a few months before passing this summer in July. He talks about how people should have the freedom to choose the drugs of their choice especially when terminally ill. It is quite amazing that Ed never stopped spreading the message of freedom even in the face of terminal illness.
In this video, Ed reflects on the government raiding his bar for video poker machines in 1997 and his 2002 run for governor as a libertarian.
