Husband of Judge That Ordered A Block Of Budget Bill Is A Financial Backer Of Wisconsin 14

I guess we shouldn't be surprised by this, but it turns out the judge that ordered a block of  Gov Walker's budget bill is married to a big financial backer of the Wisconsin 14.
[Madison, Wis.]  Dane County Judge Maryann Sumi, who recently over-stepped her jurisdiction to order a temporary block on the Governor’s budget repair bill, may have had motivation to wrongly interfere with the state’s legislative process.
A search of public campaign finance records reveal Sumi’s husband, Carl Sinderbrand, has given thousands of dollars to liberal candidates over the past twenty years, including to members of the infamous “Wisconsin – 14,” Democrat Senators Jim Holperin, Robert Wirch, and Dave Hansen.  Additionally, it was reported Sunday that Sumi’s son worked as a political operative for the AFL-CIO and SEIU.
Sumi’s far-left family background and family financial stake in the careers of Democrat Senators are likely to make objective observers question her impartiality – and good judgment - when ruling on the case.  Mark Jefferson, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, said the latest bizarre ruling to come out of Madison suggests that Dane County judges are more interested in advancing the Democrat agenda than they are in following the law.
“It sure looks as though we can add her to the list of partisan Madison elected officials who will do anything to obstruct the budget repair bill and appease their Democratic base, regardless of the law,” says Mark Jefferson, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin.  “The legislature acted in strict accordance with the law in passing the budget repair bill, and we’re confident that this clear overreach will be overturned.”
Senate rule 93, supported by two current Democrat state Senators, requires only that meetings in Special Session be posted on the legislative bulletin board, as was done prior to the Conference Committee convening.
