Call For Ending Of Death Threats and Vandalism Against Sen Dan Kapanke Met With Skepticism By Recall Group

Recall Dan Kapanke supporter Brian Bridgeforth posted a comment on the Recall Dan Kapanke Facebook page calling for civility and an end to the threats and vandalism against Kapanke. His comment was immediately followed by other comments from people questioning the accuracy of the reports of threats and vandalism against Kapanke reported in the La Crosse Tribune. I have posted below the screen shots from the Facebook group detailing the conversation. Interesting that some members of the recall group believe the threats are fake, and being used to gin up sympathy for Kapanke.

  1. Like I have said before, ff the vandalism & threats really are happening by anti-Walker people, it's abhorrent. But based upon the peaceful nature of the rallies I've attended in Madison for the past month, combined with Walker's statement to the fake Koch that he considered planting troublemakers amongst the protesters, I have a difficult time swallowing the reports of threats or violence.

  2. Yeah, it's REALLY difficult, considering that union bullies and their like-minded radical enemies of the Constitution (Bill Ayers, Students for a Democratic Society, Weather Underground) have made a lengthy and well publicized, sensational history out of violence and destruction. A huge leap, right?

  3. People on both sides have stolen recall petitions. Also at least one person collecting signatures was punched.

  4. Calling yourself a "watchdog" suggest you are after the truth. This is so far from the truth. It's like calling fox "news". You are just spreading the conservative propaganda. A better name would be LacrosseConservative.org

  6. Now, WAIT a minute. I'm going to call you out on this one. Just look, for example, at your presence at the tiny Teabagger party at the Radisson a couple of weeks ago. All you wanted to do is stir up the crowd by picking a fight, hoping to catch something juicy for the camera. You are not after the truth.....you are just as slanted & biased as Fox "News".

  9. It becomes more apparent every day that there are indeed members of the supporters for Kapanke/Walker who wish to stir up trouble. I have attended several rallies and have seen only peaceful gatherings. Most recently at the opening of the republican party headquarters. The rally was held on the street opposite the headquarters, although it would have been legal to hold it directly in front of the building. However, agitators from the republican supporters crossed to the side of the street to attempt to create disagreements. I have seen this at every rally I have attended. When they are met with peaceful responses, they move on.
